How I became a therapist...
I never thought I'd become a therapist. I was the most unlikely person to accept help & was cynical about 'therapy' in general, so I come from a place of understanding what it takes to make that decision. I get it when clients find it tough to open up or feel that getting help shows weakness. I enjoy working with those who are skeptical because it's so rewarding when someone who didn't want to seek help feels better.

I guess I ended up here because I've always been interested in psychology, so while I was teaching for the Emergency Services in London, I attended an 10 month NLP course back in 2006 to learn about the psychology of language & communication. I learned a little about Hypnotherapy on that course & decided to train in that next. Then the counselling came naturally afterwards. I will never stop learning as it's an integral part of being a therapist.
So that's my story & here I am doing a job I love.
